WHAT WE DO
Woodbury Camp is an extended outdoor educational experience available for all of Woodbury's diverse 6th grade student population. One of our goals is to foster a sense of belonging and respect among classmates, especially before they enter Shaker Middle School.
HOW WE DO IT
The district’s 6th grade students are divided up into four groups, each of which stays at camp for three days and two nights. Our A-Team members lead the classes through various outdoor lessons that encourage personal growth and teamwork among the students.
THE A-TEAM
The A-Team members are college-age adults hired by the District and have passed all state and federal clearances. They serve an essential role as cabin counselors, activity instructors, and enthusiastic role models.
